Dr. Lauren is a Nashville, Tennessee native residing in Atlanta, Georgia since August 2012. She is truly passionate about mentoring and helping young women. Dr. Lauren first discovered this gift in undergrad when she served as a freshmen mentor through the Multicultural Affairs office on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University as only a sophomore. That year she won freshmen mentor of the year, which was voted by all of the mentees. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Mass Communications in 2008, her Masters of Education in Nonprofit Leadership from Belmont University in 2012, and her Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University Atlanta in 2016. Dr. Lauren is the CEO and Founder of a Social Media Management company called The Social Media Dr., LLC specializing in small businesses. In addition, the Social Media Dr. offers Nonprofit Consulting through one-hour virtual sessions. 

 

In Dr. Lauren’s personal time she enjoys mentoring, spending time with loved ones, all things communication, traveling, swimming, laughing, trap music, horror movies, decor, make-up, fashion, fun outings, public speaking, and all things girly. She is also a member of the Nu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. She feels her purpose in life is to positively impact at least one person!
